It looks like the gaming slots are filling up fast...
I plan on running a pseudo-historical Arthurian vs. TES (The Evil Saxons) Grim Tales + Mythic Heroes add-on game with 7 slots.
TEASER - Blood Alter of Wodan
Winter, 501 AD...
After recovering the ancient talismans of power from the Isle of Mists and blunting the initial Saxon assault into the highlands, Artorius and his band of stalwart companions had hoped for a respite. They wanted to spend the winter training their forces and prepare for a spring push into Saxon territory in an attempt to drive them back into the sea.
Alas, the barbarians had other plans.
Word reached Artorius through the sharp ears of Bronwyn, his chief spy, that the Saxon Chieftan Horsa was rounding up every Romano-Briton he could lay his hands on in preparation for a great ritual on the Winter Solstice. Whispered rumor held that the Saxons were going to sacrifice their captives at the Alter of Wodan, their pagan god, to bring strength to their armies and crush the rebellious British for good.
Unwilling to let so many innocents die by Saxon hands, Artorius left the training of the army in the hands of his lieutenants and set off for the Lowlands with a small force. He detached most of the troop to make a diversionary attack while he took his bravest companions into the heart of the Saxon enclave to save the captives...or die trying!
The battle is about to be joined...
NOTES: This pseudo-historical scenario based on the Romano-British Arthur and built using Grim Tales/Mythic Heroes. There will be some "magic", using a slightly modified GT system (using non-lethal instead of ability drain). Pre-Gen 8th level PCs will be provided.
I will run this twice if there is enough interest. The Game 1 folks are as I remember them from those who chimed in before the great 2006 ENWorld crash...
If this slot conflicts with something else you have planned...I am tentatively running another slot on Thur AM.

Right now I am thinking 9ish AM - 1ish PM on Friday for Game #1, but I am flexible. I plan on joining TBR on Friday night...so I will likely be useless on Saturday AM
