When I first heard about this, I was intrigued. Now that I'm looking at it, I'm blown away. Despite knowing the fact that its 24 inches tall, despite knowing the fact that it was the largest fantasy miniature ever created, I was blown away when I saw the final sculpt. You have to check this out. Its insane. From what I've seen of the colossal red dragon by WotC, it seems so... insignificant. Here's the URL: www.itscolossal.com

I do not appreciate being jerked around by glimpsy previews. It is far past time they show thier jumbo resin* mini and show if thier superfig is 'all wings'. Biggest min ever? since thiers ain't metal The Red Dragon of Krynn model kit is in the running and that one is not 'all wings'

OK. I'll say what I can:

What is it exactly?
Its one big horkin' dragon... a greater dragon to be exact, hense the term "colossal." She is called Viszerlyn the Oracle - a dragon so old and powerful that she has transcended the concepts of good and evil. To give you an idea of how big she is: she's two feet tall with a two foot wingspan - thats the equivalent of putting a ten-story building on your gaming table!

When?
Currently scheduled for August but this could change.

Pics?
Not on your life, I've seen it but I value my head too much to post anything

She'll be all resin. In addition to the billion bits problem with casting her in metal would be the weight! She'd give you an automatic hernia the moment you tried to lift her

I thought giving only a glimpse of the thing was quiet clever, in a cheeky sort of way. It made me laugh, and click the 'play again'.

thotd

I wonder why no one has just taken the glimpse frame-by-frame to put it together.

Is that bigger than the Forgeworld dragon? It's close either way. I painted a big ole' dragon and it will fit that role for the foreseeable future.
