$5 sale on A Magical Society: Ecology and Culture

Hey all,

We've got some excess stock we want to get rid of so we're having a $5 sale on A Magical Society: Ecology and Culture at our web-site. You only have to pay $2 for shipping in the US and outside the US we have pretty reasonable shipping.

It's a great book, but I have more than I want so take some off our hands at 80% off.

Yeah, this is a good book.

There's a lot of stuff you can directly import to an existing homebrew. The back section has a nice list of dealie-wackers and thingies to drop into your world to be discovered.

The bulk of it is a nice round introduction to earth science for the aspiring world builder. Things like how axial tilt will affect weather and seasons. You'd think it's dry, but it isn't. And it's also a good idea mine for interesting locations.

I think the only thing I can think of that's missing is guidelines on where to put cities and towns. But that may even be in there and I'm just not remembering. At $5 this is a steal.

Also, it is in this book that Joe reveals his gnome fettish!

Hi Joe and Suzi!

I just ordered my copy, to go along with the PDF version I have. I also ordered Silk Road, since I forgot to buy that one when I saw you guys at GenCon.

Thanks!

Okay, I think I just ordered a couple books. Nothing is in the shopping cart now, so I presume it went through. For some reason it just kept "Loading" for several minutes when I hit the pay button. It never came up with a 'receit' style screen, so I'm not entirely sure. I'll check back on Mon / Tue to see if it went through. If it didn't I'll try again.

In any case, I ordered both the Ecology and Culture book and the new Silk Road book. The former is for my younger brother, so that he no longer needs to borrow mine. The latter is for me, as I already have the first two in solid form. Actually, I have the silk road in pdf, but while I find pdfs convenient, it is often somewhat easier to read the book itself.

[Edit]Okay, nevermind. I just received a receit in the email, so I know it went through. I look forward to receiving them - althought I think I'll leave my brother in the dark so it is more of a surprise to him when he gets it.[/Edit]

Tried accessing the site with both FF and IE, and can't get on. Nor can I access citymax.com .

*edit
