Winnipeg Gameday - Come Sign Up!

So, I am starting this thread in the hopes of starting up a Winnipeg Gameday with my fellow ENnies here. We need a variety of things to get this off the ground, and anyone willing to chip in and help with this would be great.

First off, the date: I am thinking the 18th or 25th of November (both are Saturdays) at an appropriate location in Winnipeg. I beleive Campaign Outfitters would be an okay place to think about; they have quite a few tabes in thier (limited) space, as well as a fairly distinct location (Pembina and Grant). I'm not to familiar with the other spots around town where this could be hosted, but anything would help!

If you are a Winnipeg gamer, please drop a line here and get this going!

Hello,

Another Winnipeg gamer here. I play DDM over at Gameknight Games on St. Mary's Road. They are hosting World D&D Game Day on November 5th (I think, whatever the first Saturday of November is). Unfortunately, I have to work that day but I know that last year the store pulled out about 20 people for the event. We have a steady crowd for minis events, and pretty much everyone is also an RPG player (not all, but most).

You can locate many of us over at Maxminis.com in the Meetingplace forum under the Winnipeg Traders Meeting Place thread.

I will highlight this thread to those I know to see if anyone else is interested. More gaming is always a good thing.

Thanks very much. I personally don't do DDM, but if you could give a heads up over there to prosective players/DMs, that'd be great. Of course, ENnies would be the priority audience (along with whomever tags along with them) but I'd love to see a whole bunch come out and get together and play some RPGs

Where a bunch of us (meaning ENnies and others, as space allows) get together and game! We'll need people to DM, players, organizers, and so on.

Right now, it's more of a call-to-arms than a formal "here's what's happening". Details will be worked out in due time

Basically, it's just a great reason to meet those nice ENnies that you talk to online - while doing what gamers do best
