Ok, ok, ok, ok.

Ok.

I'm a horrible person. I vanished without a word. Again. I'm a flake.

I could say Christmas kicked me in the head, and that would be true. I could say that being switched to working the night shift messed me up, and that would be true as well. But no, I have a much lamer excuse.

My muse demanded a sacrifice, in the form of a fanfiction story.

I have sacrificed 102,276 words to her thus far. She's still expecting a weekly quota. I snuck out while she was rebraiding her whip.

Also, I'm DMing two groups in the real world. One of them is a small group of people my own age. The other is a group of 12-year olds I DM at the local library. My peers were out of town for the great majority of my hiatus (on vacation for the holidays), so I only had the little ones to DM. All of them are very new to the game, just learning, and unfortunetly managed to suck all my enjoyment out of DMing and D&D (not to mention the fact that I have to get up in the middle of my "night" to meet with them, since I started DMing them back when I was on the day shift).

However, my peers have returned, and with them came the enjoyment of DMing intelligent and knowledgeable people again. I pray to worm my way back into your good graces, if you'll have me.

Welcome back Isida!

By my count, this is actually only your first vanishing without a word. What's the fan-fic about? Is it a NaWriMo experiment gone overboard?

Anyway, if you're back now, Rayni, Ssiran, and Nissa are still ready to go.

DMing those younger kids is the best way they have to be introduced to the game. I commend you for giving back to a younger generation, and getting another group of kids hooked on our hobby so that it may continue. In my mind that service (which I would rather stick hot forks in my eyes than do) is an asset to the RPG community and mostly makes up for your cowardly abandonment of us. :p

Welcome back.

Yay! :)

Tondrek hope to play soon when pretty lady is ready.

And Marot has somehow managed to survive, though I'm sure his NPC'd performance was lackluster on my part (grunt, Marot, grunt!) Feel free to have him back at any time, or let me know if you need to drop.
