I think it might be a Chimp PrC actually. It does appear to be a rather rare skill...

I once watched a film of chimps hunting monkeys. The monkey was running for it's life from three male chimps. It looked like they were just chasing it in hopes of getting lucky. Then the monkey runs smack into the FOURTH chimp that was awaiting the driven monkey. Dead monkey. It was just scary to watch...

Wow.

Just... wow.

Now all we need is to find chimps making fire.

I have. I'm assistant scoutmaster in a Boy Scout troop. Imagine twelve boys working on their first skill point in Survival. It's scary.

Yep chimps are pretty scary. Half the body weight of a human, but five times the strength. And those hunting chimps just have an evil glint in their eye. They really look mean. The last clip I saw they hunted down a young chimp from another tribe, ripped it apart and ate it. Cannibals I tell you :)

Some anthropologists hypothesize that the reason many smaller mammals are stronger than humans (not just chimps, but cats, dogs, bears, etc) of equal size is because humans have evolved to not run at "full power" so to speak. While humans have the capability for extreme strength when in fight/flight mode and the adrenaline is pumping (see people lifting cars to get trapped children out, etc), we have evolved blockers than prevent you from acting at full strength on a regular basis.

The claim is that this contributes to longer human life span compared to other animals because less wear and tear is put on the body in daily life.
