Paizo Publishing and Necromancer Games Announce New Roleplaying Product Partnership
Tegel Manor slated for summer release
April 10, 2007 (BELLEVUE, Wash.) – Paizo Publishing, LLC and Necromancer Games, Inc. have agreed in principle to partner in the creation of future Necromancer Games releases. The two hobby gaming companies have signed a letter of intent to team up in the publication of Tegel Manor, a revised classic Judge's Guild adventure module, and other Necromancer releases.
"From the very beginning of the Open Game License, Necromancer Games has produced evocative, exciting products with that classic ‘First Edition Feel’ everyone seems to love but few seem to really understand," said Erik Mona, Paizo's Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Dragon. "The guys at Necromancer certainly understand, and I can’t wait to bring Paizo’s top-notch production and publishing approach to this great brand. Orcus himself must be smiling right now. I certainly am."
"I can't tell you how excited we are to be working with Erik Mona, Lisa Stevens, James Jacobs and the people at Paizo," says Clark Peterson, President of Necromancer Games. "I feel like a paladin that just found a holy sword. It is a perfect fit for us."
Release dates for projects produced by the Necromancer-Paizo team will be announced in the coming months.
