I'm looking for players for a large-scale game on a forum. I wanted to make a MMORPG-esque game for D&D, and it seemed like a big project since this is technically my first time DMing ^^;. The game was supposed to involve many players acting independently from the entire community of PCs to create a more realistic world while maintaining many consistent storylines. I knew I couldn't handle as many people as I expected, so I also called out for DMs so we could have several running the game all at once.
Unfortunately I had one problem. I didn't have enough people. I was also running the game out of a forum I also used for other RPGs, so it didn't seem professional to advertise before. Now I made a new forum for the game hoping I can get more people by advertising, but so far I still haven't gotten any response. Hopefully some people here are interested?
The game is ECL 5 and characters are limited only as far as WotC goes (meaning you can make your characters from anything from WotC... no magazine stuff though). It's a 40 point buy for stats, so it's very high power. HP is 100% at first level and 75% at every level afterward. Characters start with 300 GP that they can spend at stores in-game.
