I'll be running the latest adventure in this series, titled "Diplomacy by Other Means". It will become "open" at around 8:00 PM tonight after I post a post in this thread that says "GO". No players will be accepted into the game before that.

Captain Sir Carson Umbridge - Captain of the Indomitable and hero in Parhoon, the British capital on Mars. He has led his crew through many a scrape and turned certain doom into victory.
Elizabeth Jameson - The daughter of the British Provisional Governor of Mars, Lizzie manages to get herself in a lot of trouble. But her knowledge of the sciences and medicine are nearly as sharp as her rapier.
Sir Budrajah Gurung - A soldier from one of the Gurkha regiments, Budrajah became a member of Governor Jameson's household staff after his retiring from the army. He has since become Elizabeth's personal bodyguard. His protection of her usually involves huge piles of dead bad guys, brought low by his sword and kukri.
Professor Angus McTaggert - An ex-Engineer in Her Majesty's Navy, professor McTaggart has been brought on as a "consultant" who designs, builds and tests (sometimes with explosive results) new kinds of ordinance aboard the Indomitable. He feels that most problems can be solved by the proper amount of explosives. When that doesn't work there are always his fists that made him the three-time Pugilism Champion of Her Majesty's Navy.
Carlotta Morales Sanchez - De-Frocked Spanish Nun Turned Pirate. Nobody knows more about sailing a wind-powered sky galleon than Carlotta. And she's made some excellent contacts among the Martians while trying to spread the word of God. She speaks several languages including "large bore cannon".
Dexter "Tex" Croft - This Texas big-game hunter came to Mars fleeing his creditors and hoping to make a fortune taking those fancy pants europeans on hunting trips. He didn't set out to become a hero but sometimes a man's in the right place for his skills to come to bear. In his case, those skills have to do with surviving in the harsh Martian desert and putting bullets in bad guys from far away. His Sharp's "Big Fifty" buffalo gun has a long reach and a hard punch.
