Looks very, very nice. The rules look like I will like them too. Love the bits of art.

Do you have a larger pic of the cover of the second product on the last page? Is it up on your site?

Thank you for the kind words. The entire PCI Staff as well as everyone who worked on this product are very, very proud of the work we did.

We don't have a larger mock up of that cover yet, however, if you go to:

and scroll down to the 3rd image, you'll see the art used for that cover.

No wonder why I was intrigued by it! Thats the one you posted here when I first saw you talking about this game. Just proves to me how much I like that illustration.

Henry, the game looks awesome, and I am loving the American setting.

Question: does the book address religions other than Christianity? Are there Jewish or Buddhist Witch Hunters, and if so, how do is it reconciled with what seems to be a very Christian outlook of Hell, demons, sin and so forth?

Granted, it's not like there were tons of non-Christians in 1600's America, but there were enough to make is a possibility of playing one of these in a game.

Would this be better taken to the WH forums over at PCI?

Thanks!

Yes, my fellow member of the tribes, you can play a Jewish witch hunter. Witch Hunters are of all faiths, and even in some instances entirely irreligious (though no WH would doubt the existence of higher powers).

Witch Hunter: the Invisible World will be supported by a world-wide interactive roleplaying campaign called Dark Providence. Dark Providence will provide regular adventures for use with the Witch Hunter RPG. For more details visit www.darkprovidence.net

The first four Witch Hunter: Dark Providence adventures are introductions to the game and to the world, designed to be played in about three hours each. All four will premiere at Origins (July 4-8, Columbus, Ohio). They will also be available for play at Gen Con (August 16-19, Indianapolis, Indiana), Dragon*Con (August 31-September 3, Atlanta, Georgia), and other conventions to be announced here.

Dark Providence 01 - Storm Front, by Brian Schoner

Hunting pirates is a job for the navy, not for Witch Hunters. But ghost ships are another matter entirely, and when Sir Henry Morgan asks for your assistance in putting such superstitious tales to rest – one way or another – it’s hard to say no. It is spring, 1689, in Port Royal, the capital of the English territory of Jamaica. A Witch Hunter: Dark Providence Introductory event.

Dark Providence 02 - Swans, by P. Dennis Waltman

Wrath is said to be the "love of justice perverted to revenge and spite." It goes hand-in-hand with Pride as two common Deadly Sins. These sins are deadly indeed for the village of Boswyck, not far from New Amsterdam, on a fine summer day in 1689. A Witch Hunter: Dark Providence Introductory event.

Dark Providence 03 - Loss of Innocence, by Tim Chandler

Claims of witchcraft abound in Boston, Puritan capital of the New World. It is summer, 1689; The Brotherhood of Ash sends Witch Hunters to mete out justice to the servants of the Adversary. But who is innocent, and who is guilty? A Witch Hunter: Dark Providence Introductory event.

Dark Providence 04 - It Came from the Woods, by Robert Farnsworth

North of Boston in the summer of 1689. The stories the parents tell their children to get them into the house before dark… could they be true? It is up to the Witch Hunters to figure out what is happening. A Witch Hunter: Dark Providence Introductory event.

In addition to the aforementioned introductory events, Gen Con will feature the premiere of the first full-length Dark Providence event:

Dark Providence 05 - Age of Innocence, by Tim Chandler

In the city of Philadelphia, you can cut the tension with a sword. The colonists and the local Indian tribes are on the brink of war. With one wrong word from either side, the powder keg will explode. Is this the inevitable result of a clash of cultures, or is the Adversary pulling the strings and manipulating events to a more sinister end?

Dragon*Con will feature two more brand-new full-length events, and November brings four more adventures at Wicked Harvest, a dedicated Dark Providence convention (details TBA). More full-length adventures will be arriving at various conventions after that point.

If you are a convention organizer who would like to feature Dark Providence events at your con, please contact whdp_campaign@bellsouth.net.
