Queenie
Queen of Everything
To take place Wednesday evening to start sometime between 7-8 pm in the Embassy Suite.
Not sure how it all really came about but we hadn't heard any word of an official Canadiana Suite so decided to do it ourselves. I believe it's an issue because some of the previous party throwers are unfortunately not in Embassy Suites.
Anyway, over on CM we're reserved a block of rooms together and it seems we'll be throwing a "Welcome to GenCon" meet and greet. Not all the rooms are participating but when we get a little closer to GenCon we'll devise a way of letting people know where the party is (I think Queen D brought her awesome pirate flag to hang off the balcony last year). Our rooms may not be right next to each other but we are hoping they are, and if not they should be in the same hallway or same floor.
We'd like to keep the Canadiana Suite spirit alive, so anyone who wants to contribute tips on how to do that, please feel free.
We will have some alcohol available (for those old, or should I say mature, enough to drink
) but you should plan on bringing some drink or some snack with you.
If more details are needed we'll post them closer to the Con
Oh, and one more thing, we will have our daughter with us who will just have turned three. So while togas and costumes are welcome, you gotta keep your behavior decent for us and anyone else bringing their kids. Aka you will not be allowed to vomit in our room
