I thought Durkon's lecture about Haley's competency was the best part, especially the crack about her being able to last 24 hours in a city vs. Elan's not being able to last 24 rounds, even with his "fancy schmancy prestige class."

But will they be, like in the 1st comic? What if bards get the axe - will Elan pop out of existance?

no, but if bard gets the axe, i bet he will have a mid life crisis. trying to find out who he is. well at least he should if the bard gets the axe.
