Background music or no?

I'm a yes person myself, although I generally try and play music with no lyrics ( house music - not techno ) with a mellow volume so as to not be too distracting, but still set a mood. I have found some mix CD's ( and make some ) that work well - some ambient stuff is great too...

Some favorites of mine are :

-The A.D. One/Two/Three Series
-Various PORK ( mainly Fila Brazillia ) compilations
-The Om Lounge compilations
-Nightmares on Wax - Smoker's delight
I can list more if anyone wants...

So do you "game" to music? If yes, what ( I could use some new suggestions ) , and if no, why not?

Ooooh! Thanks. Lots of good stuff here...

I personally use WDND ay http://www.live365.com for my background music. A mix of movie scores and classical that seems to work well.

Now if I had the time, I would set up a playlist for specific adventures, but alas, that is not to be.
