Harglblar

Harglblar are the skeletons of dead horses, reanimated through dark and sinister magic. Because of their small heads, the only commands they understand are "new post," "delete," "threadcrap" and "noooooo!"

Creating A Harglblar
"Harglblar" is an acquired template that can be added to any corporeal creature (other than an undead) that has a skeletal system (referred to hereafter as the base creature) and at least four feet. Shark are only eligible if they have already aquired the acidborn template (see Dungeonscape page xx).

Size and Type
The creature’s type changes to undead. It retains any subtypes except alignment subtypes and subtypes that indicate kind. It does not gain the augmented subtype. It uses all the base creature’s statistics and special abilities except as noted here.

Hit Dice
Drop any Hit Dice from class levels (to a minimum of 1), double the number of Hit Dice left, and raise them to d12s. If the base creature has more than 10 Hit Dice (not counting those gained with experience), it can’t be made into a Harglblar by posting to ENworld.

Speed
The Speed of the Harglblar remains the same, because the author is too stupid to make tables work in messageboard posts.


Armor Class
Natural armor bonus increases by 4. This is an untyped natural armor bonus, because we need more creatures with confusing statblocks for MM VI.

Base Attack
A Harlgblar has a base attack bonus equal to ½ its Hit Dice.

Attacks
A Harglblar retains all the natural weapons, manufactured weapon attacks, and weapon proficiencies of the base creature. The damage die it uses stays the same, because the author is too stupid to make tables work in messageboard posts.

Natural and manufactured weapons deal damage normally. A slam attack deals damage depending on the Harglblar´s size. (Use the base creature’s slam damage if it’s better.)

Special Attacks
A Harglblar retains none of the base creature’s special attacks, except tail attacks and special mane powers. If the Harglblar had the pokemount subtype while being alive, kill it with fire.

Special Qualities
A Harglblar loses most special qualities of the base creature. It retains any extraordinary special qualities that improve its melee or ranged attacks. A Harglblar gains the following special quality.

Damage Reduction (Ex)
A Harglblar has damage reduction 5/slashing. Harglblar are lumbering masses of horse.

Saves
Base save bonuses are Fort +1/3 HD, Ref +1/3 HD, and Will +½ HD + 2.

Abilities
A Harglblar’s Strength increases by +2, its Dexterity decreases by 2, it has no Constitution or Intelligence score, its Wisdom changes to 10, and its Charisma changes to 1.

Skills
A Harglblar has no skills, so you don´t have to think about what to do with all those skill points.

Feats
A Harglblar loses all feats of the base creature and gains Toughness, because that´s the worst feat in existence and we feel like being cruel now and then.

Environment
Any land and ENworld.

Organization
Organization? For an undead horse? Are you serious?

Challenge Rating
Is broken anyway

Treasure
None. Haha!

Alignment
Always neutral horse.

Advancement
As base creature, but double Hit Dice (maximum 20), or — if the base creature advances by character class.

Level Adjustment
Is even more broken than CR.
