My Grandfather & Father Have Passed Away

Angel Tarragon

Dawn Dragon
My father passed away sometime in the last two days. He was in Albuquerque burying his father who had died a week earlier.

I can't help but feel really angry at him. He leaves a behind a wife, a son (me), a daughter and a grandson. This will probably mean huge lifestyle changes on the rest of the family. I don't know how to react to this, but am really, really angry. I am likely to not take a huge interest in my regular posting habits as I need some time to deal with this.

This also means I'll never be going to another GenCon or any out of state gameday. And I really wanted to go to GenCon this year.

Oh, my goodness. That is, I mean...that is...

I hope you and your mom and sister will take things one day at a time. You may be very busy for the next while. I have just prayed for you and I will continue prayers until I hear back that you are "managing." I'm so very sorry, Frukathka.

Prayers for you.

Oh, god. Losing one family member is awful enough - I can't imagine the pain of losing two so close together. Take care, and you and your family have my sympathy.

Man Charles.... :(

I'm really sorry to hear this. I only met your Dad a couple of times at Gen Con, but in both instances he seemed to be a decent guy.

Damn Fru. I'm sorry to hear this. May God give you the strength you need to make it through this.

You have my condolences. I also had the opportunity to meet your father at GenCon and I am saddened by your loss. I hope that you and your family remain strong.

I'm really sorry to hear this, I know how hard this is for you and your family (I lost my dad when I was 13). Me and the rest of the FDG crew will keep your family in our prayers.

Damn, Fru, that's harsh. I don't know how else to put it. Just know that there are a lot of people pulling for you in your time of need.
