Fighters have Psionics

Some people think all classes in 4e get "super powers oOo", and they are right! All 4e characters are magical super heroes overpowered to 11.

Here is my list of short descriptions of all the highly supernatural powers that fighters get up through level 10:

Hit you so hard it bounces off your skull and hits your friend
Hit you so hard that you hurt yourself dodging it
I am going to hit you
Bully you with a shield

Beat the steaming crap out of you so my buddy can move
Beats for you, take a step, more beats for someone else
Beats, then I kick your legs out and you fall
OMG I am gonna hit you as hard as I possibly can without going crazy

I hit you, and it was so awesome that I got an adrenaline rush
You are SO FREAKING DEAD
My God, I am tough, but all those little cuts hurt now and I'm about to go barking

Hey idiot, don't stand there
I can use my shield really well
I am PUMPED

I can stab a pointy metal thing into your armor chinks
Swing a big ass hammer full speed
Hit you really hard with sharp metal, then you can't walk right
I am seriously going to hit you
I can swing faster if I'm holding a light weapon
Swing like Albert Pujols and hit a bunch of dudes at the same time because they're all standing around together

Hit you so hard that I break your armor and it hurts
Hit you so hard that you might projectile vomit
Pass out so many beats that if you get too close I'm probably going to hit you

I can tell when people want to fight me
I'm pretty freaking tough
That really didn't hurt

Hey pansies. Get over here so I can bust your freaking heads open, then bust some freaking heads open
I'm gonna distract you, then my buddies are gonna take advantage of it
I'm gonna hit you as hard as I can, I don't care if I miss
I'm gonna sprint now

I go ballistic and bust your knee or something, then you get the hell away from me because I start freaking out
Beat the crap out of your legs so you can't walk right
Hit you really hard, and it is so awesome that I get an adrenaline rush

I'm gonna sprint more
I almost didn't block that, now I'm off balance
I put my shield in front of my friends if you try to hit them

So, did you already get an offer for a position at WotC to create flavor text and fluffy names?

just so you know, I'm totally stealing these and replacing all the standard power names with them.

Definitely made me laugh reading these.

And having read through just the heroic-tier Fighter powers, I can't disagree with the descriptions. Heck, may just print out the ones for the exploits my character has and use those to describe what I'm doing to the poor slob on the receiving end

Dude. This was way funnier than it had any right to be.

Its also the coolest preview of the fighter powers out there that I can get until my books come in. Surprisingly, its an excellent overview of what a fighter can do.
