Here is a creature I made... please comment.
(PS the Monster Creating Guide PDF on the HomeBrew Monster site is Brilliant and very useful!)
SPIDER GOBLIN
Small Humanoid (Goblinoid)
HD: 1D8+1 (6hp)
Init: +1 (Dex)
Spd: 20ft, Climb 20ft
AC: 14 (+1 Size, +1 Dex, +2 Leather) (AC 18 V Giants)
Atks: Dagger +1 melee, Sling +1 ranged, (Dagger +2 and Sling +2 against humans) Dmge: Dagger 1D4-1, Sling 1D4 (Dagger 1D4 and Sling 1D4+1 against humans)
Face/Reach: 5ft by 5ft/5ft
SQ: Darkvision 60ft, Human Hatred, Giant Dodging, Poison Resist +10
Saves: Fort: +0 Will: +3 Ref: +0

Spider Goblins are small, lithe and bloodthirsty creatures with broken twisted minds. Often mistaken for normal goblins or savage gnomes these hunched spider-worshipping creatures are often found in the company of Monstrous Spiders.
COMBAT
Spider Goblins attack in huge numbers attempting to overwhelm their foes. Like the Spiders they worship they often attack from the shadows and use any tactic including ambush, hit and run and many strange cruel traps.
Human Hatred (Ex): Spider Goblins receive +1 to attack and damage against humans.
Giant Dodging (Ex): +4 dodge bonus against Giants.
Poison Resist (Ex): Although not totally Immune they have +10 to resist poison.
