20+ year veteran looking for weekend game.

I'm looking for a weekend game, either online or local in San Antonio, TX.

Don't really care what system as long as the game sounds interesting. I'm most interested in Savage Worlds, Dungeon World, Fate, or Numenera, but have played countless systems, so as long as the game sounds fun I'm pretty open.

I also don't mind GM'ing with a solid group.

Count me as interested in a weekend game. Although I live out in the Eagleford Shale area, I work for a company in SA. Systems I'm familiar with: HERO, Rolemaster, a little D&D experience (don't know what edition-been a while). Plus currently am reading The Void; interesting mix of hard sci-fi & Cthulu stuff.

Right now I'm looking to join an existing group as a player. Once I'm able to find a solid group I would like to GM again, but that probably won't be for a while.

Also, I have no idea where the Eagleford Shale area is, but when I do run a game, it'll be in San Antonio. Probably at Dragon's Lair.

If you want, we can meet @ Dragon's Lair, discuss gaming stuff, see about forming a group (two's a start). I can practice my GMing while we try out different systems. A Sat. or Sun. would be preferable.

I'm thinking about maybe running Savage Worlds, War of the Dead if we can find a few players. Figure zombie bashing is a good activity to bring a new group together.
