Battle of the Welcome Wench (Round 3) Cursing as the spell misses, Gordon will try to get in another shot at one of the zombies. Repeating his gestures, another ray of purple'ish light strikes for the zombie. The spell fails miserably though. "Chh..." Frustrated with the lack of results from her psychokinetic assault, Tetsuko mentally launched a second mug at the zombie, hoping to at least give her companion a chance to free himself from the creature's grasp. Unfortunately, Tetsuko's second mug has no more effect than the first, as it sails over the grappling forms of Xenon and the zombie. "Damn thing, let me go," Xenon screams as he releases his mindblade and tries to retrieve one of his daggers. "Have I to cut your arm open first?" Xenon's hand snakes down to the dagger, but the zombie's steely fingers catch his wrist and pull his arm up high with alarming strength. Xenon twists and shifts his weight, trying to break free, but to no avail. In the next instant, the zombie's jaws crack open wide and clamp shut on Xenon's neck near his right shoulder. The armor there protects Xenon from the worst of the injury, but the pain is very real nonetheless. The other zombie lunges for Norim. The fighter handily ducks under the monster's clumsy attempt at a bear hug. Then, Norim strikes at the zombie once again in an attempt to strike the foul creature down. "Why don't you just die already!" he shouts at the creature before realizing that the zombie is technically already dead. Norim's sword bites deep into the zombie's rotting flesh, hewing through left shoulder, collarbone, and cracking its spine. The monster collapses to the floor. Behind the bar, Gundigoot reloads his heavy crossbow. [sblock=Combat Box]Initiative Order: Gordon (21), Tetsuko (15), Xenon (4), Zombies (4), Norim (2), Gundigoot (2) Effects in Play: Tetsuko (force screen), Xenon (mindblade) Status: Xenon (6 nonlethal) Zombie 1 (grappling with Xenon) Two zombies are dead.
