Recruiting Info (Recruiting is closed) The List of PC Submissions: Atrius (hafrogman) Caged Fury (Walking Dad) Followingdarkness (Phaezen) Kadaj (renau1g) Pirx (Kobold Stew) Q'ynn (Insight) Rodeh (eblue562) Run'n'hide (CaBaNa) The Scholar (Shayuri) ------- The Crucible So, I have the DM's best problem - excellent concepts and interesting builds all around. There're just too many. I'd love to run with all of these PCs, they're all cool in different and inspiring ways. But I'm at a loss. Each time I compose a list, I see what players/PCs aren't on it and start again. I don't want to increase the party size, so I've decided to run a streamlined RP Challenge and let posts, voting and dice do the work. It'll go like this: 1. I post a situation in the IC thread for response (with a timeframe). 2. Players post a single response for their PCs. 3. The timeframe lapses. 4. Players vote within 24 hours of the timeframe lapsing for their 3 favorite responses (vote for yourself if you want to better your chances). I will be voting as well. 5. I post an unmodified d20 roll for each Player's PC response. 6. Score the round: - - - 1 pt for posting a response (on-the-ball point) - - - 2 pts for the 4 top responses in the voting (chemistry points) - - - 1 pt for the 4 top d20 rolls (destiny point) 7. Repeat. This week we'll start with 1 situation and 1 round of voting so everyone can get the hang of things (me included). After that we'll complete between 3 and 5 more rounds and then I'll tally up the scores and the top 4 scorers will move on to the game proper. I'll post the first situation Monday the 21st or Tuesday the 22nd.
