So, I've landed on a Valor Bard. You're giving us four feats, so I know he'll be taking Heavily Armored, with his armor being fancy plate armor, and Great Weapon Master, and using a Great Sword. I see him as a suave, cavalier individual who has a little more narcissism than he would ever admit, believing himself to be God's gift to whoever is currently looking at him. His plate armor is always spotless, as he would never be caught dead in dirty armor. Prestidigitation keeps him clean. He's a front line tank, so spells are mostly utility, though he does have some backup spells for controlling the battlefield, killing things and healing, but mostly utility. The reason he goes on adventures is so he can compose stories about himself and his exploits, instead of always singing about other people. Despite all this, he is loyal to those he trusts, is capable of empathy, and will throw himself in front of a bullet (so to speak) to save a friend. He'll just look fabulous as he does so. I'm thinking about multi classing him to a War Cleric, but only for a couple levels. More spells, more cantrips, free heavy armor, and the War domain has some awesome Channel Divinity abilities. But, it would mean needing a higher wisdom, which I really wasn't going to do with this guy. I could also go Paladin for the extra damage from Divine Smite, which would work better since Paladins are all about charisma. I just don't want to do Fighter. If I multi class him, I want something with at least al little magic. The main thing I'm stumped on is his race. I think having a variant Tiefling with wings would be awesome, as it doesn't say you can't fly if wearing heavy armor, but a Half Elf fits the character a little more. I'll have to think about it. I'm also unsure about his background. I feel like a Noble background would be best. I especially liked the flaw "In fact, the world does revolve around me." Oh, there you go. He's a noble who found life at court to be astoundingly boring, and left to have adventure and excitement, and to create stories of his grand adventures that the world will sing forever!
