[QUOTE="jbear, post: 6021847, member: 75065"] As Sabynha wanders about the cavern gazing at the beautiful surrounds her sharp eyes pick up that the multicolored lights on the cavern ceiling and the surface of the pool are reflections of the torches the group has lit. As the torch bearers move the reflections follow the movement. Her trained ear is able to distinguish that the harmonious tones come from within the crystals as if the rocks are somehow alive even though they can neither speak nor move. Gray wondering at the hanging droplet of water reaches his hand out towards the falls instinctively. To reach the hanging droplets he wades through the crisp water of the shallow pool fed by the waterfall. Where he enters at the western side of the cavern, where the stream descends into the tunnel the group has recently ascended, the water is flowing, but as he nears the the waterfall the flow slows and stops, the water's consistency becoming thick like tar. He struggles so much to progress that he finds he has actually climbed up and is now walking upon the still surface of the water. Touching the frozen droplet hanging in the air feels quite remarkable. The texture is liquid and wet, the drop deforming like ooze at the monk's contact. Rain and Wat's study of the enchanted water in the pool is more direct. Both immediately gather that it must flow from a place in the Feywild where time travels more slowly. But distracted by the rare beauty of the place they see nothing through the waterfall nor divine anything as to its nature. However, Wat's comprehension of the state of the water is somewhat deeper than Rain's. [sblock= Wat; Arcana (DC 19)]The state of the water does not necessarily indicate how slowly time flows beyond the waterfall, just that a difference in time flow exists between this world and the one beyond.
