Master Rhymer, pleased that someone is still paying attention to him, gives Rain his full attention, replying to her question just as Wat and Sabynha return to their seats and Gray to consciousness. "Let me begin with where you are, through the waterfall you have travelled far. This is an island in the Arcadian seas, wild without a warden. We call it, as Caerwyn did, Porpherio's Garden. Now Caerwyn, if you wonder is the daughter of the Green Lord, Oran. She and Porpherio, her husband, once ruled this garden. They have slept for very long, and now they're back but something's wrong. Young Juliana and Caerwyn's mind meshed with each other, and young Orlando's with Master Popherio's. All because of wicked Soryth's song. And the arch fey came at Oran and Tiandra's calling to put the old hag back in her bag, well that is Ragnar and Uma, the one's about which you were asking. Are they rivals? Perhaps... their lord and lady don't always see eye to eye. But a straight out fight? That aint right. It all got jinxed after that night. Uma learned tricksy Soryth's tricksy trick this island to steal. Uma told Ragnar, and Ragnar grabbed his spear and his shield. He and Uma went to stop the wicked song, true, but in the end, the song got them, too. Juliana and Orlando were there, prisoners of the hag. But when the song went wrong, they slipped free of that snag. But as you saw it was but a moment fast fleeting. Taken back she was no doubt to Soryth's hidden castle, the Palace of Spires, for a good beating. Hard to get in, hard to get out. You will need the four leaves for door keys. Here is the first." He produces a single four leafed clover and hands it to Rain with a grin and a wink. "The shamrock you have, but you also need the oak, the rose and the mistletoe leaf. Otherwise the door will pose you much grief. Elsewhere on the island I'm sure you'll find them. Perhaps with the arch fey if you can unblind them." He leans back and takes a long draft of his drink, giving a satisfied smile, white froth covering his top lip. From what Master rhymer has told you, you can piece together that Soryth was in the middle of some sort of ritual when which went awry when Uma and Ragnar attacked her. If Juliana was present, this magical failure might explain her strange appearance and state. Also the leprechaun has given you enough clues to piece together your own knowledge of Arcadia and the archfey from legends and stories you have encountered along your path to power. [sblock=Arcana or History DC 12] Oran, the Green Lord, is lord of all Green Fey and one of the most powerful archfey alive. Moody, wild, and impulsive, he is attuned to all growing things. This is who Ragnar serves. Tiandra is queen of the Summer Fey, her power on a par with Oran's. She has a tempestuous romance with the Green Lord, punctuated by bitter feuds. The Summer Queen is a subtle fey of exceeding grace. She is also fond of creatures from the world. This is who Uma serves. [/sblock]
