Varquat leads you to the Stark Brewery, an establishment cobbled out of a side street along the main thoroughfare that runs through Daunton’s Commons district. The smell of hot, malted steam permeates the air, and mechanical noises, mingled with the hiss of steam come from inside the building. The Brewery has the look of an old fire station. It’s a weathered 4-story warehouse-like structure with big livery doors, presently closed, that face the street. Wooden walls with flaking paint skirt down around a block-and-mortar foundation. To the right of the livery doors, cut into the side of the foundation, a large, double cellar door stands open as if someone had run off and neglected to close it (which is, of course, exactly what happened). “Aye. 'ere we are. Moi ole brewry. That ain’ moi cellar,” he pauses, doubletakes and shouts down into the cellar, “‘Ey! Fatso! Where’d y’go!?” He turns back toward you, “Eh. ‘E bugga’d off Oi s’pose. Normally I would wait, but WD had already told me weekends were tight for him, so I figured I'd start before he got left out for two days. Thanks for the commitment of daily checks. It's easier for me because I'm laid up on account of my back. [/sblock]
