Unfortunately for Dhakanmirr, his suicide-attempt did not immediately knock him unconscious. As a warlock, that makes him still dangerous. Jezebel doesn't hesitate in stepping up to the fallen man and giving him a solid kick to the chest. Choosing to knock him out, not kill him (although the ongoing damage may surely do that). Need an attack roll? The paladin breathes heavily, suddenly weary from the exhaustion that has been piling up today. She lays her longsword alongside Dhakanmirr's throat, but she does not deliver the killing blow quite yet. "Ferris," she calls, "he will need your aid if he is to survive to be a prisoner." [ooc]To sum up: We woke up under attack by hellspawn-thing archers. We followed them to a ravine, where we found Dhakanmirr and Hekthesh, and beat everyone up. Then we marched the whole day to get to this dungeon. Inside, we got knocked about by a cave-in trap, quickly destroyed some shadows after they destroyed some skeletons, negotiated (successfully!) with more skeletons, fought our way through Hekthesh's ambush, and then stopped Dhakanmirr's ritual, killed Hekthesh, and a boatload of shadow minions. Not bad for a day's work. Especially since we were talking about "one more fight before resting" immediately after the fight at the ravine.[/ooc]
