Battle Pit Cages, Round 4 [GM]Some notes: River missed his attack, so no THP for Pok, he took 5 damage (after DR) before saving. I don't see that CaBaNa's VoA's initial effect (save ends) goes away if the power is not sustained, am I correct? [/GM] While Amarande continues to pursue the deadly displacer beast, both he and the beast are surprised when the bars of the cage slide up out of the floor and the energy field protecting the bars activates, trapping them inside. The displacer beast, hitching about as it circles the knight and burned most badly by the chimera's fire, finally succumbs to the flames, letting our a painful sound before falling to its side. The chimera, its goat head on a pivot, spies the small gnome next to its cage controls. With a deadly bleat, the chimera changes direction and charges down Pok, knocking him painfully to the ground. The manticore still tries to disembowel the half orc who has him pinned, but is unable to get a claw past the outstretched metal fist. The winches activate again, releasing more length of chain.
