We suspect there's something amiss a goings on."</p><p> </p><p> Baern follows Melkin and the group into the back room. As he sits down he draws a handaxe and begins carving at a piece of wood. He listens to her story and seems uninterested until she mentions that her reliable friends have not returned. He looks up and frowns at this and when she stops he asks uncomfortably <strong><span style="color: sienna">Who were they, can you describe them? It would help with finding them.</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> "I can do better." The halfling reaches into his bag and pulls out three small portfolios, passing them to the group. Inside, the group find profiles for two halflings and a human, including images, work logs and basic information.</p><p></p><p>"I'll need those back. I don't want to tell you folks how to do you're job.
