[QUOTE="dimsdale, post: 5592839, member: 79956"] The woman overhears Quan and shudders. Her eyes give away her near panic state. [COLOR="Magenta"]They can't be coming for her now can they?[/COLOR] She then speaks to the carriage driver: [COLOR="Magenta"]Please hurry[/COLOR]. Ooc: Streetwise Check from those who heard Quan...which is everyone :) [sblock=Streetwise Check 15] The sword-skull emblem on the back of the thug's leather armor is from a splinter group, originally part of the Red Boot gang, but now has gone rogue. The group is led by a human mercenary know as Hank "the Tank" Johnson. [sblock=Streetwise Check 16-20] Hank is one greedy and merciless bastard who will rob anyone, killing those who resist in order to get his prize. He and his gang of bandits are hated by the Red Boot gang because Hank's group is infringing on their territory. [sblock=Streetwise Check 21-25] You know how Hank picks his targets. Hank the Tank sends his band of thugs to various places (such as taverns) to discover rumors and report them back to him. This bandit most likely is going back to report to him. Could it be that your group has been marked, or could it be a different target? That you don't know. [sblock= Streetwise Check 26 or higher] Should a possible encounter arise, you know Hank's ambush strategies. If the party should ever encounter such a group of ruthless thugs the group is not surprised and gets a +1 bonus attack the first round. [/sblock] [/sblock] [/sblock] [/sblock] [/QUOTE]
