Ryk is at the edge of consciousness. He's dizzy from blood loss, and the temptation is strong to just lie here under the table and drift off to sleep. Three things, though, impinge on his awareness. The first is Spring yowling, tangled in a burning tablecloth. The second is the realization that his own clothes are again on fire, which will probably keep him from getting any rest. The third is Crush. As the metal man smashes his foes and shouts encouragement to his allies, Ryk feels a surge of adrenaline. If a being with no heart in his chest can show such bravery, how can Ryk do less? You! Wizard! He struggles to his feet, signaling to Spring to circle around. I don't know what your problem is He clambers up the rise to where the wizard is standing. And I don't care. With one smooth motion he draws his blade from over his shoulders and slices at his foe, as Spring bites and claws. Ryk's blade misses, but the wizard dodges straight back into Spring's attack. But it ends now. No more fire! And indeed, it does seem the fire is no longer burning on either combatant. start of turn: Ryk and Spring take 5 fire. Ryk 7 hp, Spring 15 hp. Move: both stand up ACTION POINT: Move: Ryk to L8, Spring to L6. Crush's Action point effect: Ryk heals 6, now 13 hp, and makes a save vs fire at +2. - makes it! (Does Spring also get either of these action point benefits? He does move as part of the move action, but it's not exactly his action point). Free: drop boomerang on the floor Free (battle harness): ready tangat Minor: Hunter's Quarry on MW Standard: paired predators vs MW, with +3 to damage from Crush's effect. Ryk misses, Spring hits for 17. End of turn: Spring save vs fire - success [sblock="status: it's only a flesh wound. Well, OK, several flesh wounds."] STATUS: surges 0/6 HP 13/38 Bloodied action point: USED second wind: AVAILABLE but no surges enc/ dailies used: Partnered Savaging Paired Predators Second Chance Spring: HP 15/46, surges 0/2 Bloodied [/sblock]
