Describe how your icon appears to the other players. It will represent your "digital" self while you are in the Matrix. The icon can be changed later if you wish. If you do not have a VR or AR connection to the Matrix, you're stuck with your default, boring icon! You will be viewing this meeting through a screen, instead of being actively digitally projected into it. </span></p><p><span style="color: #008000"></span></p><p>Aleksander's icon flickers before the group, indicating that there is some interference in his signal. He's likely very far away from the rest of the runners, who are all surprisingly solid from each others' perspective. This indicates that the group are all pretty close to each other in physical space, although the Runners have never met before.</p><p></p><p>Aleksander indicates each of the icons in turn, providing a brief introduction for each of them. "Meet Casper," he says, indicating the female icon. "Infiltration specialist." He then nods toward each of the male icons in turn. "Skinny and Saint are combat specialists. Last but not least, Heartbreak is an electronics genius and Matrix wiz." Aleksander lets the group absorb the information before proceeding straight to business.</p><p></p><p>"I won't waste any more of your time. Here's the job. Daphne Leblanc is a spokeswoman for Crash Test Industries, a corp specializing in the sale and manufacture of professional sporting goods. She's about to announce a new product called "Pow!", a caffeinated soft drink. Crash Test Industries' competitors are paying big money to make sure the press conference doesn't go as planned. Your job is to sabotage the presentation. They don't care how, as long as it <em>looks</em> clean. No blowing things up, no killing people on camera, nothing that makes it look like CTI was sabotaged. Of course behind the scenes you can cause mayhem to your heart's desire, but the client has made it absolutely clear that under no circumstances can they permit it to be known that corps are in open warfare. If you think you can pull it off, it's worth 30,000 nuyen to divide between you, after my cut. I can't give you any more details unless you agree to the job. So, what do you say Runners?
