Then again, it does say "up to three feet tall", not "three feet tall for hundreds of miles!!1!" Hmm. Will have to spread it around.</p><p></p><p>Farther east in the same climate band of that world, we have the ten foot tall grass forests. Fantasy, mind you, and although it's not described in great detail I'm sure it has a unique ecosystem all its own.
