Ash'lon projects two visible force cylinders connected by a chain, and throws it before Bane's feet, where it creates a sizeable blast of force and sand.

The nunchaku blasts the desert; parts the chi of the crevice!

Woe is silent for a moment. "Well, I think that nunchaku blasting the desert is slightly more impressive than a hammer attacking clouds - at least blasting the desert will create debris. What good is attacking a cloud?"

As the debris settles, Ash'lon smiles hearing the judgment from Woe.
"Well fought, silent one."
He then grabs his cloak and flies off.

No, there are buffer ranks:

The Mystic and the Acolyte each have two buffer ranks before falling to a lower tier.

(Officially called B1, B2, and (B3 for warriors/clanmen), these can be changed to something more descriptive at the players option.)

Bane stands, silent and still before the judge Woe and Ash'lon. He bows slightly to the judge and nods his masked head toward Ash'lon before he flies away.

Then the man turns and walks away. He may have lost here, but he knows that his destiny is assured. He will be a great fighter...no matter haw many losses he must endure until then.
