[QUOTE="Phoenix8008, post: 1841386, member: 211"] The hugely muscled man picked his way through the ruins of the arena and out onto the sands at the center. Rubble lay everywhere and weeds grew up through the sand in patches here and there. The smell of morning dew was crisp and clean. Much cleaner than the smells that used to dominate this place when it was still the center of the universe for fighters near and far. Even after this long though, the crows still gather to sit on the rim of the arenas high walls to caw at each other. They were the only thing to break the tomb-like silence of this place where great warriors and greater legends once did battle. For it was here, according to legend, that one of the last great battles of an age happened. Where the Dark Angel Bhallreah died from the hammer blow of the Vagabond during a 3-way fight. In this place the ghost of Bhallfear, the light angel and sister of Bhallreah, appeared to the assembled host of fighters and gave them her prophecies. Good tidings and warnings of destruction, all were delivered to the various fighters of legend. And destruction did come, as if called. Time passed and even the legends of an age could not fight it and win. Eventually, they all faded away and the great Fight Club fell empty and barren. It was time for that to change...
