He can create virtually any sound at will, generate focused bursts of physically damaging sound, and dampen or overwhelm sound in a given area.</p><p></p><p>On a subconscious level, Soundtrack is perpetually surrounded by his own living soundtrack. A musical score is spontaneously created and can be heard by anyone in the vicinity, reflecting what is currently happening to Soundtrack. Most of the time, the music is subdued and low in volume (fixing breakfast, riding the bus, and talking to mom on the phone don’t elicit much fanfare). Writing music was his dream...symphonic, jazz, everything. Unfortunately, his efforts had been woefully under-appreciated. He wrote commercial jingles for local businesses. He even had allowed himself write the soundtracks for the local community and collegiate theaters. </p><p></p><p>The problem was, his music wasn't catching on. He graduated, and nobody was knocking on his door. So, following a move to Coast City, he began working in radio. He was dismally unsuccessful as a DJ. His on-air personality was okay, but he was perpetually late to work, usually having overslept while trying to write his opus. As a result, he worked in every conceivable format. He was in his final job at WOLD -- Classic Rock's greatest hits -- when the energy curtains hit. </p><p></p><p>After that day, music literally became Ben's life.
