It is an alternate Player’s Handbook, offering more streamlined rules that are still entirely compatible with pre-3e supplements and adventures. Key differences include an emphasis on kits, with characters exploring a variety throughout their careers, much like Warhammer FRP’s career system.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Spellcasting classes are opened wide up, allowing for unique takes on previously excluded races such as dwarves and halflings. These versions will have their own spell lists designed to reflect cultural differences. Dwarves, for example, practice utilitarian magic used in mining and crafting. Illusion, divination, necromancy, and other traditional schools of magic are not practiced.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Saving throws retain the flavor and mechanics of pre-3e games, but with tweaked categories. Breath attacks, for example, are divided into two categories: blasts and beams. Illusions and mind affecting magic each have their own categories as well.
