First Post
It takes place in Tolkien's Middle-Earth in the year of 1640 of the
Third Age. The devestation of the Great Plague has finally subsided and
life is starting to get back to normal in the land known as Eriador.

Your characters meet at the establishment called the Last Inn in the
fallen kingdom of Rhudaur in eastern Eriador along the foothills of the
Misty Mountains. The Last Inn itself sits just east of the river
Mitheithel along the Great East Road, several leagues west of Rivendale.

During this time, Dwarves still inhabit the mines of Khazad-dum, better
known as Moria and the Shire is has just recently been settled by the
little folk known as Hobbits. It is roughly 2000 years before the
events of the Hobbit and the Trilogy.

The Dark Lord Sauron is in hiding, it is thought he may be banished for
good at this time. But, a new scourge has invaded the lands of
northwest Middle-Earth. The Witch-king of Angmar is waging a war of
raids and atrition on the Dunedain of the Kingdom of Arthedain and has
overrun both the kingdoms of Rhudaur and Cardolan.

Rhudaur has become a puppet state of Angmar and Cardolan has fallen
into civil war with the death of their king. A new kingdom in the south
of Eriador has also sprung up named Saralainn. It is led by a coalition
of Eriadoran peasants and men of mixed Dunlending and Northman
heritage. Both Saralainn and the remaining Cardolani principalities are
fighting a battle with a new nemisis, the Half-Troll known as the
Warlord of Creb Durga.

Check out the folder I have uploaded for more information and some
pregenerated characters with background stories. Only one Tiefling will
be allowed in the group and no Dragonborn. there is a Tiefling Warlock
pregenerated if anyone is interested. Also, the Corruption rules in the
homebrew rules will not be applied unless the game becomes a campaign.

If you wish to play, just download the material, choose a character or
make your own if you feel comfortable doing so and reply to this post.
We can get together most any Satruday or Sunday in the afternoon or
evening. We can play at my place in Spring Hill or I can meet the group
somewhere else if it is more convenient. We will need at least 3
players to make this work and no more than 6 players.
