Anyone who can point out what I've done wrong, I'll be most grateful!

The comments section at the bottom of a quiz (e.g. this one) looks fine in IE and Firefox. It stretches across the full width of the page.

In Safari on my iPad, it doesn't -- it squeezes it on the left and looks terrible. I've attached a screenshot below.

Any ideas?

Looks fine on my end (Firefox). Often times divs and spans perform differently on Chrome/Safari than they do on Firefox or IE.
I've had to add special codes to get stuff to stop mis-aligning on Safari/Chrome.

Example:
Ok, apparently I can't post any css example: "You are not allowed to post any kinds of links, images or videos until you post a few times." (it wasn't a link)

Chrome/Safari act weird with negative values, too. Whereas Firefox and IE do not.
