Can you guys post character details here? Nothing too much (not like the whole sheet!), but name, race, class, brief bio (2-3 sentences is fine), any particular strenths (such as a really high Dex or loads of ranks in Tumble)?

Cheers!

Cool. I'll be linking directly to the posts from the web page, one post for each character.

Darmanicus

I'm Ray...of Enfeeblement
Morgan Sevestarian: Male, Human, Specialist Wizard, (17 yrs old).

Lives with parents in the slums. Father's a miner, mother's a gardner and fortuner teller, (part of that Wee-Jas cult of gardners!!! Scary!).

As per usual, he's had to help out Pa in the mines however this has benefitted him quite a lot since he met and befriended some of the Dwarven and Gnomish miners who have taught him all he knows thus far about architecture, engineering, dungeoneering and their languages.

His other love however has to be the gatherings of his mother and her cronies, (some of which are quite alright!). Their tales of all things dark, mysterious and magical, including a mysterious goddess by the name of Wee-Jas, have captured his attention ever since he was a young boy.

Morgan learned the dark arts from one of his mothers cronies some time ago after effortlessly managing to learn some cantrips from a book he found of hers and causing a bit of a fright upon using them. His father was none to impressed when he found out however has gotten over the initial shock. It is however a family kept secret to date.

One other problem still looms over their heads. Morgan's father incurred some bad debt some time ago which the Mine owner Balabar Smenk bought for some reason. He's since been putting increasing pressure on Morgan's father to pay it back ahead of the agreed time for some unknown reason.

Stats to note:

Int 18 - Skills in the usual wizardly stuff but also maxed in Knowledge: Achitecture & Engineering, Dungeoneering and Geography to represent the tutelage under the Dwarf and Gnome miners he's befriended and learned from.

Languages - Dwarven, Gnomish, Terran and Draconic.

Spells -

Cause Fear
Chill Touch
Ray of Enfeeblement
Comprehend languages
Expeditious Retreat
Feather Fall
Mage Armour

Nameless characters...

There are two of them which I'm trying to pick between... I'll possibly get there when I know how hitty Doug's character is and if the front line needs bolstering. Otherwise, the bard has me curious...

Dwarf Paladin with waraxe and armour. Skill strengths... none. Resistant to stuff. Knows how to ride. Mounted combat as a feat.

Human Bard. Low AC, low HP, not great in a fight. Skill strengths... several. Talky skills, tumble, Use Magical Device, and speaks 7 languages. Performs by doing oratory, quoting speeches, histories, etc.

Hard decision!

Bardic Lore and info gathering skills will certainly be useful.

On the other hand, two front line fighters will also be useful. But if Al's a cleric, he can back Doug up a bit.

It's a toss-up between the two, I think.

Torvig (without clan name). Dwarven Cleric of Fharlanghn . 61 year old male.

Torvig was born to a unremarkable but respected clan of dwarven artisans. From an early age, he was something of an oddity. Far less obsessed by mining, metalworking and gold than was proper for a dwarf. Interested in the open road, visiting new places meeting new people.

As an impressionable young 30 year old, he happened upon a sermon being preached by a cleric of Fharlanghn and found their beliefs matched his own perfectly. He devoted himself to the study of Fharlanghn and soon found the god answering his prayers.

Forsaking the traditional gods was the final straw for his clan elders. Secretly fearing he might corrupt other youngsters with his crackpot beliefs, they all but exiled him from their ancesteral home. For the next 10 years he was passed around various far flung relatives trying to make 'a proper dwarf' out of him. Finally ending up in the care of his uncle, a raging alcholic who wanders from claim to claim selling his 'dwarven expertise'.

Torvig treats the miners injuries to earn a living.

Particular strengths: Can cast divine magic! Reasonable healing skill.

Evan of Jiuhu

Human Bard

Born in Diamond Lake, and been itching to get out for the last 8 years. Got into a lot of trouble through his teenage years, but has now mellowed a fair bit, and is not a regular feature in the various taverns which he performs in, telling Dwarven Odes, human fables, or Elvish tales, depending on his audience.

Strengths: Stealthy, persuasive, convincing, bardic knowledge and abilities.

Weaknesses: major glass jaw issue. Not much good in a fight.
