He prefers to travel alone, or to keep to himself when travelling in groups. He'll always take rearguard and trusts nobody to defend his back.</p><p></p><p>As a child Hi'dran was second child. He would always hang out with his big brother, Dedain. Everywhere his brother went, Hi'dran went too. Sometimes, Hi'dran would just hide and see what his brother was doing. He knew Dedain wasn't fond of animals, and hated living in a forest, but everyone thought this would pass as Dedain got older. When Dedain just had become an adult, he walked away from the party given in his name, and went to a small woodland glade. He seemed angry, and took his Two-bladed Sword with him. Hi'dran decided to follow him, taking his bow too. He was concerned for his brother. Once Hi'darn arrived at the glade, he saw a wolf attacking his brother. The wolf had cups to defend, so Hi'dran assumed his brother just walked too close to the nest, but after Dedain killed the wolf, he walked to the cups and quickly slaughtered them too. Then Dedain got a little package out of his jacket, and pulled away the rappings. Hi'dran did not like what he saw, Dedain held an Unholy Symbol of Lolth in his hands. At this point Hi'darn stepped out of his hiding place, his bow drawn. He was stricken to see what his great example was about to do. "Dedain, please, don't! Why should you do this? We have a good home, a good community, stay with us, pray to the father that he may forgive you."</p><p>"No, the father has nothing he can give me, I worship the Dark matron now. </p><p>Now go Hi'dran, there si nothing to see here, I will not come back again, say goodbye to mum, it wasn't HER fault.</p><p>"Dedain, don't go, I will not let you, yopu have always been MY great example, come back to is."</p><p>Goodbye Hi'dran, I 'm going now, you will LET me go, you have no other choice."</p><p>"One last time my brother, I beg you don't go, I will be forced to shoot you if you leave"</p><p>"No you will not, goodbye" With that Dedain turned his back and walked away from Hi'dran. Hi'dran could not stand to see his brother walk away. He took aim, then closed his eyes and let the arrow loose. The nest moment he heard a scream and moaning. When he opened his eyes his brother lay face down in the earth, an arrow right in the Middle of his back. Hi'dran quickly ran towards his brother who was dying, Dedain said just one more thing: "YOU have betrayed ME!" With that he closed his eyes and went to the other side.</p><p>Hi'dran cried for an hour, then regained himself and swore he would never cry again. He walked to the symbol that was lying on the dirt and smashed it with a great rock. He gathered the pieces and wrapped them in leaves.</p><p></p><p>He then left his community never to come back.</p></blockquote><p></p>
