I know that many mistakes were in the text, and as a French speaking person, some syntax mistake might come from my French-speaking mind... Also, it took me some time to write that down, so I didn't had the time to revised it. Here a few suggestions: The ruins of old wizards could be the ruins of some dragons, not necesserly dragon's hoard, but surely some would have prefer to have many hideout, and some in which where the dragons was doing some magical experimentations. The church revered Aziel. When the church found what Naramyr had done to extend his life, using the same kind magic that Tiamat use to be immortal, the church have started to track down the wizards, in fear they would use that magic against the church and the empire. The tension between the vassal state of Naramyr and the empire raised during the the war against the dwarves. The unforseen alliance has put the kingdom of Naramyr in bad position, being the border that touch both the dwarven's mountain and the goblin's badland. During the war, the dwarves have decided to cut the line between Sul Taelrim and the empire, and avoid any combat against the powerfull wizard. The empire defend themsleves and ignored the faith of Sul Taelrim. After the war, this have raised the tension between Naramyr and the empire, influenced by the church of Aziel. The war between the two was just a question of time. Isaac would be born in the empire, and he would have defended a mine in the kingdom of Sul Taelrim.
