Folg, Mogan, Svexyn Folg happily moves ahead, easily in his element though he must keep his eyes shaded from the sun with a makeshift hood of cloth wrapped around his head and shoulders. (Hide Check: = 25) You loose sight of the kobold for a minute or two from time to time as he vanishes within shadows and cover of terrain to better conceal himself. Mogan and yourself on the other hand have to keep a fair distance from the inn (150 yards or so) to find decent cover from the buildings higher vantage point with the cover of the larger dunes. Of course you can clearly make out the number of windows and doors the inn has at that distance and also ascertain how many fireplaces and privy's it has. Once you circle around the rear there are more dunes providing better cover so you can get closer (50 yards) where you can better observe the comings and goings from the back of the inn. You can see two men standing guard between the back doors, keeping watch over cooks and table maids who occasionally make their way towards the barn with empty jugs for water or baskets for foodstuffs. (Always from the backdoor closest to the privy and this occurs perhaps twice per hour) There is also foot traffic to and from the other backdoor for scantily-clad females escorted by another guard who enters with them and leaves with them. (This seemingly occurs only about once per hour) You also spot what looks like paying patrons of the inn being escorted to the barn by a fourth guard who leaves with them and returns with them. (This only occurred once in two hours and the patrons remained in the barn for a half hour.) The last thing you note from your observations is how the barn also has a few stable-hands who go and fetch patrons' mounts and bring them to and from the barn for shelter and care. It looks like there is an older, master stable-hand who comes and goes from the inn and directs the younger ones. By now the sun has fallen close to dusk and it seems you have observed all the information you likely can before it grows dark. Folg hasn't been able to keep still for the last hour or so (a common problem for him) and went off on his own though promising to stay in shouting distance. However, just as you start to wonder where he is you find him beside you tugging at your sleeve with urgency. Folg: -Speaking Draconic- "Master! Come quick, you need to see this!" He says gesturing to the dunes behind you within a hundred yards of your observation point. Mogan: "Keep quiet lizard brain!" He hushes irritably, mostly because it annoys him greatly when Folg speaks to you in his native tongue knowing he cant understand it. [Svexyn: What do you do? If you take time to move to see what Folg has found, you will have to circle back to where you started approaching the inn on the usual path in darkness, assuming you wish to approach by the usual path?]
