With the end of my Tyranny of Dragons campaign (TL;DR - two PCs were eaten by a dragon and the rest of the group was BONED, so they all voted to accept defeat and end the campaign), we decided I would run Age of Rebellion. If you happen to be one of my players, stop reading now... So, I've spent the last couple of weeks working on my campaign, breaking it down into Episodes. I have two outlined so far, and I'm planning at least two more. Each episode will last about 2-3 session, I'm guessing (though, who knows, I'm horrible at anticipating how quickly/slowly my players will get through content). The setting is shortly before A New Hope, so Alderaan is still around. Episode I - The Invasion of Telos The PCs are employees of the Dalton Exchange working in Thani, the capitol of Telos. One day, while they're having lunch together, the Empire invades! A dying friend passes information to them that brings them into contact with a Rebel Cell, and (assuming they buy in and don't decide to side with the Empire or sell the info to an underworld broker) they have to steal a ship to leave Telos before the Empire locks down the entire planet. If they don't side with the Rebels (the chances of this are low since they specified Age of Rebellion, rather than Edge of the Empire), then I'll have to come up with a new Episode II and beyond, which could be fun. Episode II - Mission to Ithor After dropping the Rebels they rescued from Telos off on Alderaan, the PCs head to the Nebula Star, a resort/casino on the edge of Wildspace. Their contact gives them a mission to pick up a shipment of bacta from the Ithorian Herdship, Mother Ithor, and take it to the rebel base on Mirial. Unbeknownst to them, the bacta is contaminated with Rakghoul virus. After dropping off the bacta, they're sent out to repair a rebel listening post in a nearby system, only to return once a Rakghoul plague is sweeping through the base. One of the surviving doctors pleads with them to find a bacta substitute he can use to manufacture a vaccine: kolto. It's off to Manaan! Episode III - Mission to Manaan The PCs have to go into the Core Worlds and slip past the Imperials to acquire kolto from Manaan. It is in this episode they'll encounter Captain Aran Cho, of the ISD Stormhammer (one of the ships that was pounding Telos, as it turns out). He finds out their origins and begins a vindictive pursuit. I don't have much more than that yet, but they'll have their hands full between dealing with the Stormhammer and finding the scientist who's trying to bring back Rakghoul plague as a biological weapon.
