Of course, PrCs are only part of the discussion. Feats and spells and other mechanic proposals can be used that way to make LEW more alive - and can be the target of "do we really need that" posts. ;) While I would like to keep changes to the core rules at a minimum, additions, especially on the World level, are something I'd like to see. I'm hoping to create a PrC for the dervishes of Sairundan, for example. In a way, Sairundan could be a place for a number of World level additions. A proposed spell that deals with air? Possibly first created in Sairundan. That sort of thing. I did not actually mean to do so, but the question behind this character would be "How has the place he comes from affected the world?" Character level additions, on the other hand, can be where a character really shines. A spell named after you? An organization you founded? A unique technique expressed as a feat chain (such as Troi)? Those things can give your character a sense of accomplishment - they really formed the world. They really make Living Enworld a living game. The character route is pretty much the way I hope to go with Ashnar, for instance. I certainly hope for him to create spells. Maybe found an organization. Possibly go further than that. And of course, that what he considers to be his duty. He was pretty much the product of the question "How can this character influence the world by his presence?" I guess my point is: if it adds flavor and I think it is balanced (and is an addition rather than a change ;)), I'd be in favor.
