Astrate, though less versed, has slightly better hearing and can confirm. The specific sound of chopping wood draws the party toward a small group of people actively harvesting timber. Children run by, entertaining themselves, seemingly oblivious to the presence of the party. These are definitely Maldrogs. It is a good sign that not only will the neighboring community be friendly, but it will be easy for the party to communicate and gather information.</p><p></p><p>The children do not stray too far from the adults that are working in the area, but they seem free to enjoy themselves. Upon noticing the party, one of the lumberjacks stares for a second, then waves and goes back to work. Two others, who look to be guards, approach the party.
