After a massive overhaul and updateto the website we on the daemonforge team are looking for fresh talent to come and help with the setting. It is entirely created, managed, illustrated, supported, and supplied by ENWorld readers like yourselves. Here is a brief into into Daemonforge: Daemonforge is a fan created world, which is being developed by people like you. It is a grim world, where the mortal races have been forced back by the fiendish onslaught into a small corner of the world. They are protected from the daemonic hordes by strongholds located in the mountain range that separates the Last Refuge from the Broken Lands. The gods are dying, and their power has been taken by mighty Patrons, who rule the mortal strongholds, and by infernal Fiendlords who dominate vast areas of the Broken Lands. From the great mountain strongholds in the mountain range known as the Fingers of Darkness, to the vast fertile area known as the Kessel, to the great archipelago of islands, great and small, known as the Shattered Isles, the mortals have made their home. Gnomish airships travel between strongholds, providing goods, communications and transport; elves dominate the seas, acting as traders and buccaneers. Meet the great patrons - from the grim Lord of Blades who's stronghold guards the only pass through the mountains, to the Pale Lord, who guards the souls of those departed in Skaukator, the City of the Dead. Meet the Lord Protector, a virtuous knightly Patron who rules Templemount with a benevolent yet firm hand, or Logalan, the Master of Beasts, who wanders the wilds. Daemonforge offers opportunity for traditional D&D adventures within the Last Refuge, or for epic style play concentrating on the ongoing struggle between the Fiendlords and the Patrons. Whether you wish to defend a village against goblin tribes, investigate a murder in the great mortal city of Egran, mount an excursion into a fiendish stronghold, deal with pirates in their airships or on the great seas, or simply transplant a published D&D adventure into this world, you will find that Daemonforge is the world for you. Daemonforge is yours to shape. It is a world being created by you, the D&D community. Join in our efforts and help us to make sure that this is the premiere fan created world on the internet! Remember, this world will be nothing without the input of you, the online D&D community. This is your project, a world designed by you for your use. So come unto our Forums and share a few ideas!
