To enter the Play-by-Email Game send a character (stats & background) to Mav (dot} Weirdo (at} gmail (dot} com. Character creation rules are listed below. Please include "ENWorld is down" in subject line.
This is a test of the Emergency PbP System.
If Enworld is working then this game is not running.
If ENworld is crashed, hacked, or closed for maintenance then:
1. Run a Google search for "Enworld is Down" including quotes
2. Look for this thread among the results
3. Click the word Cached under the entry for this thread
4. Select cached text only
5. Hover pointer over thread title.
These steps will take you to instructions for a Play-by-Email Game with other ENWorlders which will run till the emergency is over.
All Races, Feats, & Spells from Players Handbook and Eberron Campaign Sourcebook are allowed, however all characters are Citizens of Cyre (or members of Dragonmarked Houses whose primary residence is in Cyre).
Class options:
1st level Adept,
1st level Aristocrat,
1st level Expert,
1st level Magewright,
1st level Warrior,
2nd level Commoner
25 point buy (attributes)
Maximum Starting Gold (except for Commoner who gets maximum starting gold x2)
Maximum hp
The character will start out at one of 6 locations outside the mournlands, a couple of days after the Mourning hit Cyre. You choose which starting place (if you can't make up your mind, roll a D6)
1. Aruldusk, Thrane
2. Vathirond, Breland
3. Gathering Stone, Darguun
4. Taer Valinor, Valenar
5. Gatherhold, Talenta Plains
6. Karrlakton, Karrnath
You will be trying to find out if any family, friends, or allies (including other players) survived the Mourning.
Do not tell other enworlders/players where your character is, all game related e-mails must be cc'd to DM
