Three Weeks Later The demon woman has chosen to identify herself only as Demon. She has picked up some English and can communicate basic concepts but has been reluctant to talk to anyone but Juno and Airman Babington. Colonel Harrington has insisted Demon be kept in the brig as he's not convinced she isn't a threat. Carter has been found by the ship's marines and is currently being held in the brig, in the cell next to Demon's ironically. Trace has been called in to the Colonel's office and asked some uncomfortable questions about Carter. For the time being, Trace is still on the "Demon Project" but Harrington is less than pleased. Via clues gathered from research and information gathered from Demon, herself, Dr. Sanduine has pieced together that Demon is, or at least claims to be, a descendant of literal demons, part of a family line that made a pact of some sort several generations ago. Interestingly, Demon indicates that the family was originally human, though not from Earth. Biologically, Demon is, in fact, almost completely human, but the mysterious x-factor in her blood, originally thought to be a virus, is actually an energy of some sort, captured and contained within her blood cells. Mysterious things have begun to happen on the ship. All those "called" to the hyperdrive that day three weeks ago have begun to manifest unusual abilities of various sorts. As part of his "in-processing," Carter had a blood sample drawn and the medical crew find the same strange energy in his blood as Demon's. Further tests show that everyone who has been manifesting strange abilities has varying levels of the same energy in their blood - including Juno, Trace, Babington, and Sanduine. Harrington calls the "Demon Project" team to the central command center. He points to a monitor where another Ark can be seen. "External cameras picked that up about an hour ago. Markings indicate that its Ark 42, but she looks to be adrift. No signs of power. I'm planning on sending a team over to investigate. Specifically, I'm thinking of sending you four, given your newly developed talents."
