I plan to put in this thread every creature from the game FFXV into Dungeons and Dragons official CR system. Creatures will be split into the same subtypes as the games bestiary. I’ll also be building NPC stat blocks for various people in the game. Some of the creatures that I plan on including do not have any official displays in the game, or are very loosely displayed, such as Diamond Weapon from the Kingsglaive movie. Lastly, the CR for these monsters will be based mainly on the creatures lore in the game, not necessarily the in-game level and stats. The creatures are spe rated into the following categories: Leide Duscae Cleigne Niflhiem Daemon Imperial Astrals Unspecified And finally, NPC’s Edit: I also want to create other mechanics and stats for items, vehicles, fishing, and more. However, the bestiary will be my biggest priority. Edit II: I originally planned to do this all offline, then post it on the internet as a full PDF one day, but I think getting feedback from people more knowledgable than i am will be a great boon. Also, it will help give me redundancy for if my files every became corrupted, destroyed, or otherwise lost. Edit III: I realized that i never explained break effects. In the FFXV game, you can target specific parts of a creature. If you deal enough damage to the part, it breaks, changing how the creature fights. For example, breaking a horn would reduced the creatures damage with its horn attack. So in the stat blocks each part will have its own AC and hit points in parenthesis in the Break Effect section of a creature’s stat block. These hit points are part of the monsters normal hit points reducing them as normal, but you must target a part to deal enough damage to break said part. I refer to this as part damage. Breaking the body of a monster is different however. Breaking the body requires a hit strong enough to effectively “crack” the monster. Doing so usually results in a reduction of the creature’s AC, but some creatures may have other effects as well. Lastly, many creatures may have many parts that you can break, but the creature would be reduced to 0 hit points before you can break all of them. This makes it so that the same monster can be defeated multiple ways in a combat. Break its leg, the body, or the teeth, not all of them, resulting in a trade off during combat. Project Goals Bestiary Fishing Table Magic Items Cooking System/Dishes Possible Class/Subclass World Map, Possibly Dungeon Maps Equipment
