Play Location/Method: Face to face at the Gamers Guild tabletop RPG club at the Cyril Jackson Recreation Centre in Bassendean, Perth, Western Australia. Game/System: Ars Magica 5E Player or GM? Posting on behalf of GM - interested players will be put in touch directly with GM Time/Frequency: Fortnightly, Saturdays, starting February 18th 2017, roughly 6:30 PM till late (10PM - 12PM typical finish time). It's ok to join after the first session. Genre: 13th century wizards (1220 AD, high middle ages) and their companions in a version of historical Europe where the things people believed are actually true. Wizards study in their towers, goblins steal babies and replace them with changelings, dragons lurk in the mountains, devils and demons tempt people into wickedness, and miracles occur for the faithful. Current needs: 1-3 more players. 2 or 3 people are currently signed up. Accept Drop-In Players? No, but perfect attendance not required. Ideally players should be able to attend at least two out of three sessions on-going. Accept Spectators? No Short description of the setting/campaign (5 lines or less):The game will be set on the Isle of Man, on the border between the Stonehenge, Hyborean and Loch Leglean Tribunals (i.e., in disputed territory between English, Irish and Scottish orders of wizardry.) The PCs will be wizards and their companions, seeking to make a place for themselves in this borderland, and master the powers of magic. The game is likely to start with a bit of a round-table session to discuss what kind of characters people want to play, what kind of stories and adventures the players are interested in, and what the home of the wizards (their Covenant) will be like. There are two or three people currently signed up to play in this game, and we are looking for at least one more player to reach a minimum sustainable level. Preferably two or three more players.
