Night of the loukirooki the story
Night of the loukirooki There is a story told to children to keep them afraid and in line. That story is of the loukirooki. It only comes at certain times and this story is about one of those times. It was winter: cold, windy and an icy rain fell. Dusk was almost upon the city, the guardsmen huddled under awnings where possible. That was why they didn’t see nor hear the vicious crime occur. Master Rupert was asleep with his lovely wife, the house steward sent home for the night to be with his family. Young master Dieter Murekzen had been tucked away for the night, the story told to him for the evening and was now sound asleep. He is now old enough that his training at the temple has been quite serious, using actual armor and blunted weapons, did much to leave him in the deepest of slumbers from physical exhaustion and his studies in the arcane mentally exhausting. The order of dweamor Knights were the most prestigious of the knights for many kingdoms around, and the most difficult to live by. The Rat’s whiskers Thieves’ clan had targeted the home of Rupert Murekzen long ago, threats made by both parties during a shakedown attempt only made things worse. In the end, they had no real chance. The pack’s made men were all wererats, the leader of the raid one of them. He snuck into the home in through the sewer and opened the door to the enforcers, the muscle of the group. First they lurked about stealing what was of value, then stole into the bedroom of the parents. When the enforcers were finished beating the master and mistress while they slept blithely there was nothing not damaged on the unsuspecting couple. The steward was trained in the priestly ways of a sect of cult busting zealots. He was awakened from a dead sleep with a driving need to get Dieter to safety-at any cost! With the wind and rain driving against him, he plogged on, never doubting what his dream had impressed upon him. By the time he got to house Murekzen the brutality of the murders were in full force. Sneaking to the boy’s room, the boy now fully awake, was afraid and confused. At the sight of a familiar face he ran to Oskar, the house steward. The murderous rats were never able to find the boy so they torched the house hoping to hide their failure-disguised as a warning to others that my try to resist. The boy grew to be a man in the home of the steward’s priestly supervisor who was a member of the order of the rose- the knightly order that the boy was being trained by, and sthe steward was hired in another city for his safety from the rat’s whiskers cult. As a secret member of the Dweamor knights, the sect with in the order of the rose, under the supervision of the oracles of XXXXXXXXXXX he had acquired friends and allies of a like mind. This group works outside the norm, taking the law into their own hands as judge jury and executioner, achieving their goals at any cost.
so what do you think?
